I completely disagree with you on that as it is actually the duty of the company to update his employees on the current trend in technology because the company are the one that provides this tools and technology and so there are the one that makes the decisions on which technology is to be upgraded and which ones not to do so it will be their responsibilities to teach this employees this new method of doing these things.

Getting a dream job is not an easy thing to do. There are people who went first to an ordinary job before going to their dream job. It's just like in a ladder you cannot just climb to the top, you really have to take one step at a time. I am presently not in my dream job yet.
