You will be able to sell your gigs on Fiverr only when your gig gets visibility. What does visibility actually means? Well, it means that potential clients can find your gig easily. Let's say you are selling forum posting service, and when someone is searching for forum poster, your gig needs to appear on the search results. You can improve your visibility by optimizing for internal searches, getting more positive ratings and reviews, and also traffic.

Most feel that posting their gig on Fiverr means their gig will get seen just because it is on the site, that is not the case, and it does mean that you need to promote and market your service on Fiverr to get clients and then get get reviews which in turn, will help you in the long run to gaining more clients.

Getting reviews is tough. Maybe you would have to pay, but that seems unethical to me, especially if you're demanding good reviews.

People cannot review your gig on Fiverr without actually buying your gigs, and Fiverr makes commissions form gig sales, so practically you cannot sell your gig for zero dollar. So, it is quite impossible to get reviews on your gigs without actually selling your gig

Yeah, but you can make some scam, so someone buys a gig but gets the money back and a profit. For instance, you could pay someone 15 dollars (behind the scenes) so 5 would go back to the person and 5 would be the profit.
