Why less graduates pursue blue collar jobs?

There is a high level of prestige that is being attached to blue collar jobs even if it is not the highest paying jobs and I am kind of surprised with the way people choose prestige over money.

Nothing bad in it, but some of graduate do not want to start from zero, they want realdy made work instead to start their own business and become own boss. That is what makes many graduate stay longer at home before they get Job.
This is actually a mentality that really needs to go away from a lot of people. It is not ideal that you should have something laid out for you but instead you should always try to work for.

It has been observed that only a few graduates are willing to go out and do some blue collar jobs that would bring them money, they tend to feel too big to do it.
Why is this so?
Is it bad for a graduate to do some blue collar jobs?
You see some graduates who prefer to stay idle and broke rather than involve in Blue collar jobs that would help them make money.
Is there anything bad for a graduate to do some blue collar jobs?
I think it is more of a pride and ego thing. Graduates tend to build castles in the air and assume that by virtue of their qualifications, they should be fast tracked into a white-collar job, but in reality this rarely happens

There is something bad that already built on impression has cost for a lot of people. This is why a lot of people just think that they are entitled to White collar jobs and that is sad.

So many graduate have high expectation of gaining automatic employment after graduation. This maybe so but mostly it depends on the type of courses you studied in the university. There is nothing wrong with blue collar job or White collar job.

Many people tend to pursue white collar jobs because they believe that white collar jobs usually pay more. However, I think that this is not necessarily the case all the time.

This is a misconception that has been inculcated in the youth for far too long. Due to this thinking, the blue-collar jobs which could bring in more money with the right application eludes them, and then they end up complaining

This is typically because they feel they are worth more than the job, most blue collar jobs pay small amount, and you can barely sustain yourself with that amount. Graduates spend years in schools to get knowledge and skill to improve the society, and fill their pockets, these jobs wouldn't do either for them, most you find doing blue collar jobs is a result of limited vacancies in the positions of white collar jobs.

The main reason why most graduates prefer white collar Job than a blue collar job is because of their educational background , and we goto school because we want to be better and get a better job in the future .

Well honestly speaking their is Nothing bad in it, but some of graduate do not want to start from zero, they want realdy made work instead to start their own business and become own boss. That is what makes many graduate stay longer at home before they get Job

Nothing is wrong with it, but there are too many graduates and not enough jobs, and the job market is very competitive. So many graduates prefer to carve out a niche for themselves rather than compete for jobs.

There nothing bad in pursuing a blue collar job , in fact its the job that's paying nowadays because white collar jobs are scarce because its limited and our mentality for going to school is to get a white collar job .

That is true but just that a lot of people may have difficulties starting from scratch after they have passed through schools and educations. That's just the only challenge.

To the graduates , pursuing a blue collar job after spending so many years in the university to get a degree is like wasting money and time , so that's the main reason why we prefer looking for a white collar job.

Most graduates always have in mind to work at office since every place is structured well and love the way their workers work and dress. As a matter of fact, starting business from beginning is a huge task to them and see it as waisting of time.

This is because you can engage in a blue collar job without having to be a graduate and a graduate doing that would be an evidence that they really wasted their time and resources in school; at least that's how they see it. They always prefer the white collar jobs.

I think that this trend is now changing and there are many people who are pursuing blue collar jobs because the economy is so bad that people now have no option at all.

There are definitely people who don't care anymore about the job type as long as they get paid. That's really the situation we are in right now and everyone is just trying to survive.

Fewer graduates are opting for blue-collar occupations for a number of reasons. One is that these positions are thought to offer lower pay and less distinguished career chances than more conventional white-collar positions.
