Over staffing

Over staffing is a big problem in many companies. Over staffing means having more staff than the company actually requires. Does anyone realize, some people create a vacancy in the company just to accommodate their relatives into the company? This kind of act creates over staffing.

I think that the problem of overstaffing can be dealt with if we actually determine the number of employees we require when we start a business. We would need to know how many managers we require, but the main challenge would be to hire labour because usually overstaffing happens when we hire labour.

Well , over staffing do not normally come easily except in situations where there is a reduction in task which will make some of the staffs to be surplus . No company will comfortably hire excessive staff .
 
Over staffing is the act of having more than the required number of staffs or workers one actually need in their employ. This is very bad combo for business as it will bear adversely on the entire budget ofbth business
 
Ummmm who knows if it really is greater in your country, the truth is that corruption is advancing and there is no way to stop it as an independent population. That is why we have this excess of personnel in public institutions
The truth is that corruption has become a major noms in our society to the point that our current generation sees it as something completely normal and part of life, they cant even imagine a world where there is no corruption at all, because they met it and it keeps growing.

I do not think that companies usually suffer from the problem of overstaffing. I am not saying that they never do. However, most of the companies do know when to hire a person, so they usually make the current employees work for long hours and handle the job of two persons!

Exactly , they will rather have lower number of staffs than to have excess of it . They will only want situations whereby they will be in the receiving end of the whole things.

Your comment is right, nowadays corruption is very common, so much so that children are growing up with that mentality. In many cases it is complex to make them understand what are the right actions in daily life.

Teaching them what is right has become something strange for them, as they see doing the right things as foolish and alien, while everything that is ethically wrong as right. Doing the wrong things comes easy to them than anything else.
 
Overstaffing can be a big problem for a new business start up especially when it is a private firm as you keep paying extra for the number of staffs you don't need.

As you describe it, it is contradictory but it is the reality of our days. That is the reason why there is an excess of personnel in government institutions, and so many phantom payrolls, since they include in them relatives and friends who have never set foot in the institution to work and still get paid.

They even go as far as creating fake companies and offices that they give out contract to, eating the money ment for the betterment of the economy. One does not even know where to start from when it comes to creating reform.

What's quite upsetting is the fact that the employees who are already working at a working place suffer when the company does not employ enough staff. I think employees have the right to refer their friends to such workingplace for a job because this would reduce understaffing and also provide employment opportunity to many people when people get referred for a job.
 
Each official or high-positioned organization staff needs their family members to involve the greater part of the positions, when there is no additional body required for the undertaking, they actually fix themselves for the errand. That is terrible, things should be done, to address such wrong example

It is very true, not long ago we found out about a phantom company in my country, where there was an embezzlement of millions of dollars. Some people have already been imprisoned, but I know that in the end everything will remain for history without the real culprits. It is difficult to put an end to this corruption!
 
When a company is overstaffed, it is always difficult and will struggle to takes care of her staff salaries and other benefits especially when the company generated income does not commensurate with the numbers of staff working in the company.

Overstaffing is not good in an organisation because it will run down the companies budget and also may also lead to bankrupt of that organisation when it is over staff.

If we refer to private companies, it is rare to get overstaffing as this is very controlled. The opposite happens with governmental entities, which is one of the reasons why countries are so economically bad, practically in "bankruptcy", because of the excess of personnel, thanks to corruption.

The reason why I said that is you can not be able to pay or recommend someone's effort
 

When a company is really ove staffed it's going to affect the revenue of the company because you will keep paying more salary to the staff that are not really productive to your company in the long run
