Is coming in late for work a ground for suspension?

Coming in late for work has been grounds for suspensions for over a long period of time. This is more so if the person in question has the habit of regularly coming to work very late most of the time

Every organization have their own rules and regulations base in the time of which every workers need to resume work place. If you are living far to work try and get an accomodations close by I guess.
 
One of the work ethics which I do not joke with as a worker is punctuality to work. As a business owner I will definitely make regular lateness a ground for suspension.
 
If the employee makes it obvious like a landlord to late coming. Then strict actions need to be taken by the manager to combat such. The manager should issue warning to the employee, if the employee continues that way, axing him or her is permitted.

Each job has its dos and donts. So if coming late is one of the prohibited things for you at your workplace, kindly stick to it and avoid any issues or any stories that touch with the management of the company.
 
You can excuse for 1-2 times. You can also excuse if permission has been secured in advance, but if that repeats too often and no permission has been asked, you can suspend them.
 
Frequent lateness to work is enough grounds for termination of employment. An employee who takes for granted several warnings against lateness should rather be let go because that is tantamount to indiscipline.
 
Coming late once per month might be acceptable but if you are coming in late every couple of days of course the employer won't accept that from you
In some place of work coming late to work without a genuine reason for your actions can warrant a sack from the organization. Every organizations has it own laid down rules and regulations that guides it business operations that each employees must strictly adhere to in order to avoid suspension or sack.
 
Sometimes the situation may not persist you. But if your find someone breaking the rules on a regular basis, than taking action against them becomes necessary.

True but I believe that at times one needs to ask the person what could have caused the coming late to work . At times one can be given a second to see if there will be change.

Of course coming late for work is a bad behavior. Sure, the organization will be affected in one way or the other by your absence. You can be suspended for this and I as a person wouldn't say your employer is wicked

Some people really want to push their boss too much and call them wicked instead of doing what they are supposed to do to avoid any problems in the end but they won't.
 
Coming in late for work is grounds for suspension. But only when the lateness has become past the warnings given to the affected staff and it keeps on repeating itself
