You are absolutely right! Most of them think they own the job and pride does not allow them to resign on their own, they are usually fired from their jobs. In some cases it is also due to their economic situation, but they don't care about improving themselves.Believe me when I say humans can be very funny, you know most managers feel that the position is their birth right so they have this kind of pride that they are on top. Especially the lazy ones. Lolzzzzz. These type of managers should be escorted out of the building and on time before they cause further damage to the firm.
That is true,no one want to give up his job and go home and suffer whether being incompetent or not. If a manager is incompetent and unwilling to resign then you should go for further training.Well If I am to answer your question on why an incompetent manager never considers tending his or her resignation, I would have to say that even though they are incompetent they still want to and have to earn a living, this has to be the main reason
The first reason for an incompetent manager to resign willingly is due to his/her pride, because they don't want to accept the fact that they are incompetent, and the second reason is that there is no job out there.I think it could be pride for incompetent manager to resign unwilling on his position, because of pride it will not be easy for the person to do that.
Well most managers are employed base on skills and ability, bit goes in the same way which is difficult to separate from each other.Mangers are being hired by the employer who believed in their abilities. Not necessarily hired on the correct basis, or with an accurate view of their skills.
Hiring a manager who wasn't a good choice for the company was or one who lacks skills needed to manage the company. Having failed as a manager on many occasions makes it very obvious that he lacks the skill set to drive the company forward. His refusal to stay put on the job and not willingly considering resignation is what baffles me.
Why is it hard for an incompetent manager to resign willingly?
