Over staffing

A situation in which a company hires more employees than it can afford to keep. Overstaffing may occur, if the number of employees is more what is required

Over staffing, in some countries it has been or become the order of the day. depending in the administrative structure. it is not very good for a company to be battling with the issue of over staffing. this will increase the expenditure of the company in in terms of salaries and also lowere it savings for expansion and development.
 
Is it proper to call such staff Gost workers when their names are in the payroll as workers but they are at home or engaged in another business. By far the biggest problem associated with overstaffing is the cost of paying employee salaries. The biggest expenditure for any company is its workforce. Yet, it’s highly unlikely that an employer would want to pay this large expense to a workforce that doesn’t have any work to do.
 
Overstaffing leads to bad managerial sector,when one employs more than what the company need, Automatically it leads to more using some staff payment to pay those who do not deserve payment or job,but based on the fact that they have been employed then they are to be paid.
 
Smiles. That happens in most businesses, many businesses are suffering with over staffing it brings a lot of disadvantages to businesses.
 
Over staffing is a problem in our society today because some of them employ their relative and add to the number the already had in the company and because of this the might not have enough money to pay salary to the employees
 
Overstaffing is very common at the government office over here both the state and the federal. And this happens as a result of corruption going on among the people. People also engage in ghostwalkers you know that will make more money from payroll.

I don't overstaffing is not an issue all although many people do that for their own selfish desires and wants part of the corruption in the country
 
Over staffing is the reason why we don't have official airline in my country. According to the history, it is being said that about 600 people work with just one plane in the airport. And the payroll always in negative outcome on the cash flow of the airline business.
 
Overstaffing is very bad and it bring about a lot of discomfort and it like you overloading when you know you can't take care of all of them and pay them all at the same time
 
Over staffing so to say is not cool with the wellbeing of a particular company, if the income is not flowing and the brand is not that known, then no point for for the over staffing.
 
One of the primary reasons of over staffing is favoritism and nepotism. Business owners, company CEOs and Managers try to create jobs fr their friends and relatives even though the company does not need staff.
 
Well, all these overstaffing palava depends on the particular company it's happening to. In an organization setting, we have the human resource manager who caters for staffs and can detects easily when there's over staffing.
 
Over staffing is a big problem in many companies. Over staffing means having more staff than the company actually requires. Does anyone realize, some people create a vacancy in the company just to accommodate their relatives into the company? This kind of act creates over staffing.
This is absurd. It's as if the owner is planning to fail. Employing more staffs should only be because of more demands not just to bring ones relative in
 
Overstaffing is actually common in my country; most especially in government establishments. They use that for their own personal gains which is corruption. No private organization would ovetstfaff workers
 
Ovesrtaffing in my country only happens in the federal government works, private company can never have over staff worker beacuse they are after making profits and they are careful with staff selections, but in the government settings, some people actually creates space for their relatives even thou they know they don't need workers at the moment.
Yeah. It can only happen in federal agency. That is where we have lots of ghost workers. Private companies are trying to maximize profit hence very much impossible to have over staffing rather under staffing is more common.
 
Over staffing is a major problem to any business because when there is an overload you might not be able to take care of all the employees and you will certainly not be able to pay them

This is why every organization needs a human resources and financial manager to determine the best number of people for a job and how much would be sufficient for them.
That is very true,because an organisation should not just come up with a employment program just for the formality of doing employment,there should be a genuine need for such position.

This is a very common practice here in my country, especially in the government sector. It has become to rampart that people have started seeing it has normal. Have you had any experience with this?
