In cases like this, it is always advisable you state the terms and conditions of your delivery service online to all your customers. This is very important because it prevents unnecessary complains and issues that may arise later on while delivery products. So it is imperative for every online store to work with a good logistics firm whose service is top notch at reasonable prices.

I agree with you, the issue of delivery in Nigeria for example is now a bone of contention, jumia used to deliver quality products so the charges were mostly overlooked by me until now that most of the items are shipped from abroad and the most recent one was a different item from what I ordered.

This is the one problem I have with online business marketing. Distant location greatly affects sales of online product mostly. Imagine a scenario where I buy a product online and the charge of delivery is close to that of the product

That was experience by my wife when she ordered a product that came from Hongkong. Upon the delivery of the product there was a surcharge for the delivery since the product was from abroad. Oh my, the amount of surcharge was higher than the value of the product. I told my wife to cancel the order by not accepting it. Good thing that it is a COD - cash on delivery - so my wife did not pay anything. The delivery charge was not clear when the order was taken.
 
According to my own point of view, there are many issue with online delivery. And sometimes online delivery stock are very risky. A friend of mine complain of receiving fake stock and it was mixed up with good once. Some of the stock are fake.
 
Online stores have a lot of issues and I think they should improve on their delivery issues too, this could turn many customers off. The best thing I think they can do is to use reputable delivery companies to handle their deliveries.
 
Concerning your question above, I would say a problem faced in online shopping is issues with delivery and logistics. Products are often lost or damaged while in transit, and order tracking systems are unable to accurately locate the product.
 
Delivery is a Major problem encountered by online stores and that's why the prices of goods are high in most cases because, the cost of delivery is an addded charges

Many online service take longer time to deliver items, and some costomers see it as slow and sometimes very stressful especially when you are giving different items from what you ordered.
 
This is one of the challenges of an online store especially when you're selling cheap products, the best thing is to focus on your vicinity.

Delivery service of most online stores to me that I have traded with, or done one or two transactions with are always accurate, they tell me the numbers of days it will take them to deliver, and it is always accurate.
