Between existing customers and new customers which one someone needs to give special treatment?

Before the customers you now called existing customers, they were your new customers who became existing customers because the way you treated them. So will the new customers become existing customers if you treat them well too

I think your old customers have to be treat with more care. Customer loyalty is the bedrock of a good business. Your new customers have not been part of your growth, but your old customers are.

Giving especial treatment to all customers might not need your attention. You can treat every business customers by giving them the same discounts on the goods they buy in your store.

I think a business should focus more on their existing customers and their new customers because if you are to focus on more on a group of customers than the other group then definitely your business cannot grow so a business should be able to manage both their new and existing customers very well.
 
I think both should be giving the same of special treatment in business. So far I think no business owner will want to rubbish a new customer in his or her business and again it will be very hard not to entertain an existing customer very well
 
The simple answer is both. If you rely on just existing customers, it simple means your business is not growing beyond the current limit. You would need new customers as well to create growth. If you rely on just new customers. You don't expect to always have new customers every single day. IT is the existing customers that would create a from of stability.
 
Sometimes it's not really up to the business owner, certain promos could be done to attract new customers while others could be done to encourage and reward old customers

I think the best option here is to give equal attention to the both parties. If there is any possible way to halve you attention into two equal parts and offer each half to the both parties then it will be very helpful as both are needed for business growth. You can't afford to treat one with less care.
 
To me new or old customer,all my customer deserve a good treatment, though that doesn't stop me from paying keen attention the customer that spend more in my business without making it obvious

Existing customers and new customers both are very important, and must be treated right, because every business needed a trusted customers and also have the ability to keep the new one

Well,both category of customer needs to be give maximum attention to because we never can predict what the two may have to offer in nearest future, though you might give the existing customer and edge because they helped you in growing the business but don't let it be obvious
