Some people may be strict while others are not , but all these things will still boils down to the fact that if you can't manage your business perfectly , being strict and not being strict wouldn't help you in any way. People that can manage business perfectly will understand that strictness most times does not work.

It's more about time management and knowing what kind of schedule works for you, (and your employees, if you have them) in order to get work done in a timely fashion and making a profit when all is said and done.

This is one of the disadvantages of working for yourself. Those who have never experienced it usually think otherwise but it's hard to be hard on yourself.
It's one reason why people prefer to work for themselves though. You get time to take care of yourself.

I'm not overly bossy but I set the lines, I try to create a relationship between me and my workers and also let them understand that I'm their boss and certain things shouldn't be done in my presence or even absence. Being too strict doesn't make you a better boss, it only keep your employees far form you.

I have never been strict because I know what it takes to be an employee. I make business very official and outside the business, it is unofficial with my employees.

That's true, likewise me too I cannot be strict because I am a boss I will treat my workers well, because workers don't like if their boss is very strict they like someone who is friendly with them.

Yes been harsh towards your employees is not good always but what I want you to know is that setting limit is also essential so that they won't take you for granted.
