To whom should business be more responsible?

An organization's first responsibility is to provide a job to employees. A business must also be responsible to society. Business is also responsible for protecting and improving the world's fragile environment. Thus, we can say that stakeholders arte4 the individuals or groups to whom business has a responsibility. The stakeholders of a business are its employees, its customers, the general public, and investors.

I believe business organisation should be more responsible to their customers because it is with the help of customers that will give rise to employees and shareholders. We could consider employees to be the second most important since they are the one that are directly dealing with the customers.
You can't possibly generate money when customers are not available and they should be put into consideration first.
 
As the owner of the business , if you want your business to be going on smoothly and getting recognised , then the first set of people you need to satisfy are your workers because they are your engine room,
 
I totally disagreed that the business should be more responsible to the employees than the customers. Both the employees and the customers are instrumental in the development of the business and as such, must be treated equally.
 
Business owners need to take most of the responsibility because nobody else can have the passion for the business more than the person who started it and so it wouldn't make sense to let the business die due to ignorance.
 
The business should be more responsible to the staffs or the employees as you have stated in your thread because the employee are the ones that makes things happen. The result that is obtained in the company or the success that was recorded was as a result of the impact of the employees.
If you're choosing the employee that means you are tilting to one side and that is probably not going to favour the company. I think that the company should strike a balance between the employee and the customers.
 
In most cases , I will also suggest that business owners should be more responsible to their employees because they are the one that made available the products that are being sold for profit. But unfortunately so many employers care less about this because of high percentage of people available for service.
 
The responsibility is something that everyone has to be in mind and should not just leave it for a particular individual because it is a general factor that determines business success.
 
A business that wants to survive should not tilt to one side but must try as much as possible to strike balance amongst the customer, shareholders and the employees. This should be the best practices for the growth of the company.
 
I think all the elements involved in the business, production and distribution should be involved that's the owner of the business, employees or staffs and the customers because none can be more functional without the other.
 
We shouldn't say that the business should be more responsible to the customers than the employees who are very instrumental in the production of the goods and services.. it is very important to strike a balance.
 
Definitely, any business that wants to be successful must try as much as possible to be responsible to their employees because when employees are happy, there are tendencies that the business will probably move forward. after then you must try as much as possible to make your customers happy and you need to understand that they are the backbone of your business.
