As rent in skyrocketing, at this time it is about the same to buy.

Makes sense, I feel like I'll never have enough money to live outside of my parent's house, but that's primarily my own fault for not saving and always blowing it on other stuff.

I think without my husband I wouldn't be able to. I rely on his half for rent. If I wasn't married I would be relying on my bestfriend because we were living together. Funnily enough I've offered him to move in with us again if he'd like because a payment divided by 3 is even nicer. When I first moved out I moved into a one bedroom apartment and it was affordable! I can't imagine living on my own again because things are so expensive - even in a 1 bedroom apartment sometimes - but it also depends on the area.

I don't even see the need to live alone when I can live with family. I don't see myself ever having a SO in my life considering I don't really believe in "true" love much, so when my parents pass away I'll probably be living with my brother or sister, or maybe I'll live alone and grow accustomed to it.

I knew from a pretty young age I didn't have any want to live with my dad. I wouldn't mind living with my grandparents long term I suppose. I have a pretty strong personality though and I know that can clash sometimes. I moved out of my dads as soon as I could. I enjoyed living on my own. I moved and lived with my grandaprents for about 6 months and then I moved in with my bestfriend and we had so much fun. I miss living with him actually. My husband and I made it back from our honeymoon and I cried because my bestfriend wasn't here with us. It was a process for me.

I think it depends on your relationship with your family - if it is great and you're happy... then for sure! Living with parents is good, most people are having to do that now with the prices of rent and everything.

I do indeed have a great relationship with my immediate family, which is one reason I don't see the need to live alone due to finances and possibly being lonely from time to time. My mother and father are so good to me that they don't make me or my brother pay any house bills whatsoever. In the long run, I don't mind living with my parents, but I know it probably won't be something I'll be able to do my whole life with age.

My dream is to buy land and put all the people I love on that land. So like 5 acres, my husband and I have a house, my bestfriend has a house, his parents have a house, his brother and kids have a house then put a swimming pool and kind of a "activity" center to go in the middle of the houses. If only I was a millionaire/billionaire.

I think most people have similar dreams like that.

I only ever lived outside of my parent's house for one year in an apartment with my best friend just to get a taste of adulthood.

I know, it's not nice, but at least you learnt something out of it and now know where you stand.

Hey everyone!!

I woke up early and left the house early. Ended up driving to one city about 26 minutes away, and was told no appointments were there and to do x y z. In the end I was able to make an appointment in South Dallas which was another 45 minute drive away from where I was. I changed my name on my license!!!

I worked 11 1/2 hours yesterday for the first work order of my second job. Most work orders are 1-3 hours, but this was a major reset that they wanted to be done in one day.
