Hi all, just wanted to check in and see how you were all doing? I've been so so busy the past month with work. Not too long until annual leave though, I'll be finishing up 3 weeks this Friday to start my 30th birthday celebrations, and I'm off to Berlin for a little break.

Found a ton of old USB drives this evening and just been going through them, a lot of memories on there, including some MSN chatlogs from 2009/2010 which include some people from old forums. Been quite nice to take a trip down memory lane, but it makes me feel like I'm having some sort of midlife crisis lol.

Anyway, like I said, hope you're all doing well, hopefully check back in with you guys soon.

It requires you to physically be at the store to do tasks for them, mostly resets. I told them I would be willing to travel within a 30-mile radius. They pay for your gas when you travel to the retail stores.

Hey all! Hope everyone is having a great week so far!

I had to get checked at the hospital last night for my neck pain. Seems it may have been a muscle spasm that caused my issues and I have to rest as best I can and do neck exercises and have been given pain relief to help. Now we just need to get back on the healthy side of life

I finally have a lot of work orders for my second job

Well, my first work order was a bust because at the store I went to we couldn't find the planograms, paperwork, and supplies to do the reset for nutrition. Oh well, at least I get paid for gas by the company. I have 4 projects currently scheduled for next week.

Don't let people get the best of you. I did that for way too long, especially when I was in school. I was so self-conscious that I pretty much was anti-social. People can be hateful sometimes, but that's just the nature of some human beings. They have no empathy.

Morning all Hope everyone has a great day! We’ve got an engineer coming in to work today to do some upgrades to my machine so I’ll hopefully be having a fairly easy day!

We haven't gotten much rain here. I think there was some good rain while I was away for a week. We had bad hail that day. Flowers here are dying off. I don't have any in my own yard, but even the grass is barely hanging on.

It's sad when the weeds die off lol We just got 2 inches last night so now things are perking up.

2 inches last night so now things are perking up.

And we (in my area of Texas)... continue with 100°+ days.. and nights that "may" cool down into the upper 80s.... and nary a drop of rain in sight. My produce that is growing has to be watered every other day unless I want the leaves very wilted.

Honestly.. I rode motorcycles for years in the Texas summers and winters.. and they were not equipped with air conditioning (or heat)... and when i worked patrol, I NEVER used the air conditioner in the car in the summer, even with all the equipment i was having to carry/wear. My position was if I was chasing some tick-turd... I wasn't going to have AC blowing on me then.... and with the windows of the patrol unit rolled up.. I couldn't hear ambient noises.

Even 20 years later, it still is a "position" I take.. and I constantly have the spouse bitching at me because it is 100° outside, and I'm riding with the windows rolled down in the truck.. she wants that AC on high/recirculate. 🤷‍♂️

The sad thing is.. MUCH of current society is in that very position.. they can't deal with the heat.
