Happy Friday! Just got home from shopping with my bestfriend and we had lunch at Chilis. I'm glad to be home and out of the heat. Needing to start some laundry, but of course avoiding it xD Whatcha up to this Friday?

Thanks very much! We had a blast! My mother and father bought a book for me and a $50 box of Yu-Gi-Oh cards. The booster box was on sale for 1/2 off, so the original price was $100. Unfortunately, I didn't pull any high-valued cards though. My mother and father spoiled us as kids and still spoil us as adults!

Hope everyone has had a great weekend. Visited my family yesterday and gutted out one of the spare rooms today in preparation for getting new carpets down, but just going to chill this evening before back to work again tomorrow. Away next weekend for a couple of nights as a pre-birthday celebration.

My weekend was good overall. Yesterday I hung out with my bestfriends family. We played Mario Party and then watched the new Super mario brother movie!

Yeah, it would've been cool to pull the rarity known as a "Starlight Rare", which all of those cards are worth $100+. The most profitable card in the set is worth $500+.

My grandma tends to give me money, but she knows what I plan on using it for typically. Sometimes she'll give me the credit card lol.

I can't imagine how I'd react discovering to have a profitable card! That sounds amazing!

Some family members are just so caring that they want to spoil you as much as possible to show their love for you.

That is very true! Gift giving is one of my love languages so I enjoy buying gifts for those around me.

That's cool you've got one though! And getting the cards aren't always too expensive, so that can be a good pay out!

I foolishly gave away a lot of cards when I was a teenager, a lot of those cards are worth hundreds now. I traded away one card that is worth $1000+ now. Oh, the many mistakes we make when we're young and clueless.
