We barely get to 80 during the day. It's 50's at night here. Do you try to grow "drought resistant" or "heat resistant" plants? And we (in my area of Texas)... continue with 100°+ days.. and nights that "may" cool down into the upper 80s.... and nary a drop of rain in sight. My produce that is growing has to be watered every other day unless I want the leaves very wilted.
Hello to you! How is it going in your area? Do you have droughts there? Or you get a lot of rain like some places?
Our summers seem to become more dry over the years, and warmer too. But today was a very rainy day, so it's a bit of a mix at the moment. Other seasons are pretty wet usually.Hello to you! How is it going in your area? Do you have droughts there? Or you get a lot of rain like some places?
We may get a few days of extreme heat but overall, I believe we are getting on the cooler side. & more dry here as well. We live in wetlands & when that's dried up, you KNOW it's a drought! Our summers seem to become more dry over the years, and warmer too. Not really.. we usually grow standard "Texas" plants. Bermuda or fescue is a normal ground cover... want San Augustine or similar.. bend over to pay for the water (ask me how I know! ).We barely get to 80 during the day. It's 50's at night here. I think the last noticeable rain we saw was about 2 1/2 months ago.Our summers seem to become more dry over the years, and warmer too. But today was a very rainy day, so it's a bit of a mix at the moment. Other seasons are pretty wet usually.
Texas is wild man, I couldn't survive your place.I think the last noticeable rain we saw was about 2 1/2 months ago.
Happy cake day!I and my family will be going to Red Lobster tomorrow in celebration of my 33rd birthday!
Thanks!Happy cake day!
Red Lobster is honestly not as good as it was a few decades ago - but still is a great place to eat for a chain.
We normally put off our "celebration trips" to it until they have their Shrimpfest going....I can down a few pounds of shrimp myself... hate though that they make you do it 6 at a time. As soon as they drop the first plate off, I've told 'em to get the next one rolling.
You're not alone. This summer season's for the birds.Hey everyone! I'm ready for summer to be over with. It was way too humid today and I work in a factory with no air conditioning. I was sweating as soon as I started working, which is unusual. It's usually fine in the morning and then it gets gradually hotter but not during the hottest parts of the summer. It rained a little bit at least and it cooled it off for a bit, but not for long.
Thanks, we're about to head out the door to celebrate! It was actually yesterday (the 20th). I will indeed eat a biscuit for you!@Cory I hope you enjoy your celebration tonight! Is your birthday actually today? Eat a biscuit for me! XD
