Weekends definitely fly by! Time has been getting faster in general though I feel

I'm watching some Netflix currently and waiting for my husband to get home. He brought up gaming together possibly once he's home.

I'm obsessed with chips and salsa basically is my thing. The entree is just a bonus

Friends do come and go in life sometimes - but at least while they are around they can sometimes better your time! I understand those fears you have though. Mental health problems are more common today - and I feel like we find more and more people who struggle in one sense or another. You are deserving of friendships even though you have hardships Cory. Just wanted to remind you of that.

Chips and salsa are awesome, I like queso with my chips as well.

Yeah, I pretty much lost all high school friends a long time ago and I feel like I've lost who was apparently my best friend since I've been an adult. I've never been the best at making friends and retaining them. The mental health struggles of this world are very much real and take a lot out of us, hopefully, most people learn to cope with them. I've learned some coping skills along the way through my struggles.

That last part is very touching, thank you so much!

My dad asked me if I had an old phone laying around. He needed an old phone for an app that was not updated since 2018 and with that, I tested, only a phone bought in 2018 or before, could download that app. I was surprised my phone from 2018 still worked. But wow are those things slow.

Hope all the Americans out there had a good 4th of July! The weekend is almost here, two days left.

I saw on Facebook, the next big celebration is Halloween. My sister told me there is lots of Halloween stuff out at stores already! I can't imagine Christmas stuff already being out too!

Oh @Cory I'm sorry to hear it got the screen of death! Glad your chormebook is working at least! Do you have a warranty on the Pavilion one or are you able to take it to GeekSquad or anything? I know laptops can be difficult to repair sometimes.

Most of my phones that are old get to the point they won't turn on again, so that is amazing @cynosure.x that it even turned on!

Well I have a bad habit of buying new phones when the one I'm using is still functioning properly.

That does make sense lol. I used to do the same - every 2-3 years I would get a no phone no matter what. I have slowed down on that a bit at least lol.

2-3 years is okay, I'd get one every year. I try to keep the phone I have now for as long as I can and currently it is the phone I've used the longest. 2 years since late June.

We would always do the plan where it took 2 years to pay off the phone, or idk... maybe I just decided every 2 years better technology upgrade.... I'm not even sure. xD I can't imagine buying a new one each year, but that's amazing you've kept the current one the longest!

I have also learned buying a new phone case and protector tricks my brain into thinking I got a new phone. I think that has helped me.

Exactly, new cases help your mind thinking it's a new one. Last week I used an older phone for a week and it helped me to be thankful of the one I have for still being faster and better.

Haha true but most of the time you resort back to old technology because the current device is broken... But it also helps to not buy new stuff you don't need.

Erm, it's one with a cord, lanyard type thing that I'll use when walking cuz lady pants don't have big pockets. And one wooden one with a woodburn design. I'll add pics.

I love the first one's colors! I also like the woodburn one though! That's cool - yeah I hate how we don't really get pockets. My phone is just always in my hand or under my arm for a second if I need my hand for a second lol.

I'm too clumsy to keep my phone in my hand so I usually keep it in my back pocket in my pants but when I sit I forget it's there so I sit on my phone a LOT. Also it's not the safest place to keep it. 😅 I think the cord will be useful. If not I can still use the case without the cord. 😂

I've seen people have cute looking ones on TikTok... As a teacher it'd be kinda helpful because I set timers frequently, or I used to... I don't know if I'll need to now though. xD at least not as frequently. I can see it definitely being better than sitting on the phone! I'm clumsy, but luckily it hasn't ended badly for my phones in most recent years xD

Oh the phone I have now dropped multiple times while not having a case on, because that's how I prefer to use my phone, no case at all. 😅
