@ZandraJoi and @Cedric its so hot here. I need to live in a freezer lol. The real feel here has been getting to 115 Fahrenheit.

@Cory that’s awesome! Our usual restaurant is a Tex-mex place! I could go to Tex Mex for every meal and be pretty happy lol.

I understand shutting the world out. Maybe with the new job you’ll find someone you can become friends with!

We were hot & humid yesterday but now only in the 70's. That's cold for me lol Plus we are supposed to get rain & only got 1/4" last night. All my flowers are stunted.

It's only 10am here and it's 88, but real feel is 96... Yipee. lol. We had rain near us the other day, we were supposed to get it, but it never got here. Must have broken up before it got close to me. I'm sure your flowers are stunted!

We haven't gotten much rain here. I think there was some good rain while I was away for a week. We had bad hail that day. Flowers here are dying off. I don't have any in my own yard, but even the grass is barely hanging on.

Wow, good thing it works...
My dad asked me if I had an old phone laying around. He needed an old phone for an app that was not updated since 2018 and with that, I tested, only a phone bought in 2018 or before, could download that app. I was surprised my phone from 2018 still worked. But wow are those things slow.

It's amazing how long some technology still works after collecting dust for so long.

Oh @Cory I'm sorry to hear it got the screen of death! Glad your chormebook is working at least! Do you have a warranty on the Pavilion one or are you able to take it to GeekSquad or anything? I know laptops can be difficult to repair sometimes.

If I have a warranty, it's probably expired by now. I might try GeekSquad out if all else fails. I just need the money first.

I'm off for the next three days, now just to figure out what to do with all of the free time.

My HP Pavilion gaming laptop got the black screen of death today, now I'm stuck using a Google Chromebook I bought ages ago that I am very surprised still works.

Today I was browsing the web and found a Google Chromebook on sale for only $150 at Best Buy. My father gave me the money to buy it as an early birthday gift. My previous one was from 2019, and this one is from 2022, so it's much faster and up-to-date!

All the ones I'm seeing online that are the exact same model seem to be $200+, so it appears to be a good deal for me. It's not every day you find a laptop for $200-.

Thanks, I'm surprised I found one for that cheap at one of the bigger, known retail stores. I just thought to myself, "I wonder how much these are going for" and searched around and sure enough, I found a new laptop waiting for me!

I finally have a lot of work orders for my second job, I'm just waiting on a reply from the DM to see how I should proceed with them since it's still all new to me.
