Know the Difference between Investment and Business

Nice definition nice right up but I will always see a business as an investment. Investment is anything you put your money or time in to yield profit, sounds like business to me

While business is an organised establishment where different activities and strategies are set in place to sell goods and services with the aim to make profit.
 
The difference between investment and business is, in business you do the work to get profit, what ever profit you get belongs to you. But in investment, you just give your money to a business group, they run a business with it and give you some of the returns
 
I think they are somewhat related in a way, investment involves parting away with a lump sum payment in the hopes that it will reap fruits in the nearest or farthest future

When differentiating I feel you can do more interms of comparison,what advantage or disadvantage does business has over investment and vice versa.
