InvisionPowerBoard 1.4

It's crazy to think that there's a forum using IPB 1.3 that's still somewhat active.
Psst, Jcink is basically IPB 1.3 with some upgrades and some mods added to it.

Security and such would be my concern with using something that old. I guess it isn't much of a concern running via a hosting provider like the one stated, but I can't imagine that tossing a new 1.4 install on a server won't come with its share of unpatched problems that people have had 20 years to find.

Granted, it might be so old that bad actors can't even find an old install to test against lol.

I have IPB 1.3 that can run on modern servers. Done a lot to get it functional and modernizing it because it's my absolute fav software. Lot of memories on it :) I am looking for some help if anyone's interested.

That's really cool! I know we've got Jcink of course, but it's always cool seeing someone keep old software alive. Do you have a link where we can visit your live installation of the forum?
