What forum software have you used in your career as a forum admin?

Not sure what you mean by "career". lol I use Xenforo 2, and will continue for the foreseeable future. :)

Some of us got into the field of "public information exchange via files/written word" as far back as 1986. For me, it was thanks to Adam Hudson and Phil Becker. Just for a "a moment in history" segment.... Phil Becker wrote TBBS, which was used by Microsoft back in the day to provide their online technical support.

I ran a WWIV BBS during the 90's. Very fun! I taught myself C++ so I could mod the source code. :)
