I once read a book authored by Dale carnegie titled— ‘How to win friends and influence people’. In that book he made mentioned that a student of his narrated to the class on how he boosted production at his workplace. The student said he noticed a decline in the production and he was losing money. Instead of him to reprimand his workers, he didn’t do that. He ordered a chalkboard and placed it where all his workers can see it on a daily basis. At the end of each working session, he writes the numbers of production on the chalkboard. He rubs off the previous Number and write the present one. He said he noticed a massive increase the production rate and his business started booming.
Notice he didn’t condemn his workers for the decline instead he created a healthy competition without sacking or spending much.

My question now is; How do you create a healthy competition in your work place?
Remember that the goal here is to create a healthy competition amongst your staff members or employees and not to set your employees on edge. The competition must be that it let's all to see that the deserving employee actually deserves it

According to my own point of view, if you want to creat a healthy competition between your employees, all you have to do is prepare a reward at the end of the month or year. Any one who first meet the task will get the price

Creating a healthy competition among your employee is the best thing you can do to move your business forward, for example if you are a school proprietor, giving the best teachers and the hardworking teachers presents is a positive motivation for him to do better next time and will also want to make the lazy one sit tight and work better .

Workplace competition can help make your staff more productive, more engaged and more energized.Try to balance the teams as much as possible by choosing team members with different strengths.

You can do that by rewarding outstanding performance. You simply set targets and whoever meets or exceeds them is rewarded. Sometimes it doesn't even have to be monetary - where I used to work, my line manager would sometimes say whoever emerges ahead of the pack gets to work a half day on a Friday. You can get creative with it.

Some research studies suggest such competition can motivate employees, make them put in more effort, and achieve results. Indeed, competition increases physiological and psychological activation, which prepares body and mind for increased effort and enables higher performance.
This is true! Competition sometimes brings out the best in people. The eagerness to do better and be outstanding drives out the potentials in humans. A business owner’s priority is to increase productivity and creating a healthy competition may just be the gear to that drive

Creating a healthy competition is fantastic it will bring about a boost to workers output and overall performance of staffs of the company, this will encourage staffs to put in their best and make sure they do their best to aachieve the organizational goals.

One important benefit of competition is a boost to innovation. Competition among companies can spur the invention of new or better products, or more efficient processes. ... Competition also can help businesses identify consumers' needs—and then develop new products or services to meet them.

You can engage them in weekly competition like giving them trophies and gift depending on how well they work for that week. You can give them a challenge which will make them work more efficiently especially the one that will keep them commited to their jobs
I think creating a healthy competition among employees is good idea.Like a School system you should also take different testing program in business field. You also give different tasks to the employees for a week and check tthem which person do it better you should also give some gift to that employ and appreciate them

Rivalry can make struggle between and among workers. Maneuvering for restricted assets may cause pressure. Notwithstanding, when a group's individuals see how to have solid discussion and offer their conclusions straightforwardly, rivalry turns into an impetus for advancement and improvement. Encouraging solid clash is the initial step.

I think creating competition among employee is necessary to attaining set goals and objectives at the right time.
Competition can be created by giving employees target to be met at specified period of time and reward shouldbe attached. However, there's a thin line between healthy competition and an unhealthy one. Therefore, a bslance should be created by guiding every form of competion by set rules and disqualification should be allowed if snyone does otherwise

to be able to do that, make them feel jealous between them (in a positive way of course), for example, when someone does a decent job, reward him and keep thanking him, the others will want the same for sure and compete with him

Creating competitions amongst employees can be another way of improving their performances and motivates them to reach thier respective targets. How do you create competition?,by placing awards for the best staff of the year.

A good manager creates healthy competition among the members of staff and it is ideal as it will make them to sit up. A manager can do this by setting targets for the members of staff and rewards those that did well publicly to make them sit up

To reach a conclusion in how to create a healthy competitions among employees, we must first know that all employees have a quota they contribute to the success of an organization as a result of this, the competition to be set among them must be the one that would be welcomed by all such as presenting of awards by the end of the business year.

Creating a healthy competition among staffs has many benefits including having to boost the employees morale and promote getting work done, there are many ways to achieve this I.e
Reward Teamwork

But Also Encourage The Best Performers

Positive Competition Teaches Healthy Criticism

Establish a Clear Focus

Don’t Tolerate Unhealthy Competitive Behaviors

I think it is a good thing that there is competition between two employees, so both of them will try to do a good job.And in order to be good in their own eyes, they will pay more attention to the work, so it should be done in the midst of competition. Will work is also great for competitive business

Creating healthy competition at work
Make it fun. Work is naturally competitive: everyone wants to do well in their job, be recognized and promoted. ...
Monitor effects. ...
Compete in teams. ...
Encourage yourself to compete. ...
Stay focused on the end goal. ...
Provide reasonable compensation

It can be created through different means, you can always create a certain target for them, where who meets it gets rewarded with a promotion or cash reward. You can also create competition by showering praises on who perform the most
