The best way is to change your job but if you are in a situation where you simply cannot easily change jobs, it's best you study your boss, understand what irritates him or triggers him/her then try to avoid those things.
There are bosses that what ever you do annoys them. The best thing to do if you don't have an alternative is to endure until something better comes up

Yea, it would not make much sense if you give up on the job and you have not gotten a replacement, just endure until you have been able to secure a good place. Once you have secure one, you can leave that toxic boss

There are actually some situation where a boss can be toxic. At times it is not really the fault of the boss but because of the attitude of the worker(s). But if it is from the side of the boss I think the best thing is to do your task diligently. And if it continues, it is advisable to quit if possible.
 
Well the best thing to do is actually to over look them and try not to get in their way and be more committed and try to do the right thing at all times and then you won't have issues

To deal with a toxic boss, you just want to do your job efficiently and be timely and deligent at it,and Keep to the company's rules and regulations. If after all these your boss is still toxic towards you, then, it's time to quit that job.

You're right about that, especially if the timeframe for your boss to spend on that position is only ephemeral then you just have to endure a little and tolerate his excesses
 
Hmm this question seems high to me,I don't think there is any way of dealing with your boss,because everything he does he will consider it as right,one has to be patient with his boss.

Changing job in this current reality of unemployment? I guess the latter is the best option. What's is the assurance the new boss will be better than the former? I think most boss are toxic. To study the boss likes and dislikes, every important details about him or her, is the best step to handle any boss whether good or toxic.
 
Retaliating it getting back with words to your toxic boss whenever he is at it again only fuels the situation. You should always say quite and let him finish all his venting of his anger and talk. But see to it that you say nothing
I can imagine that talking back will lead to exchange of words and more quarreling. So I agree with you that one should just stay quiet and let the boss vent out.

I understand what you are trying to say but the problem is that in most cases, there are some persons even after understanding their boss, they still find it impossible to actually cope with them. In such a case what do you think should be done?
 
You can't deal with toxic boss, you can only leave their job and find your way out. The best solution is to do your job assign by your boss and leave the rest.
