why companies lose their best Employees?

Poor Management. ... While salary is often touted as a significant reason behind an employee deciding to quit, frequently it is not the money that causes a worker to leave a company, but poor management. Highly skilled workers often look elsewhere for work where their skills and time are valued, and they are respected

When employees speak up on a particular issue, project or risk at work do managers even care to listen!
What good is there to having meetings involving your employees, asking for advice on a certain project, asking what could be improved in the company, if you’ll just end up doing it your way? Sure, as a manager, you need to be able to make a decision and settle matters but listening to your employees at all time makes a difference. When decision making is inclusive, employees do their best to achieve the company's aim. If otherwise, they quit their job and look for a company that respect their views and listen to employees complains and contribution.

As a company or Business manager, you need to be a very careful listener particularly to your employees. You have to seek for their opinions on what and where needs improvement in the company. This will make them feel they're cared for

Loosing the best employees in the company is not new but could be disheartening as the negative impact may be brutal on the company. One of the reasons why this happens is that; may be the employee wants a raise in the salary and the company is not willing to pay.

I think many companies lose their employees because they do not get them their salary in time and sometime some companies lose their employees because their note give them there shall be according to their knowledge and education

Top employees often leave when corporate bureaucracy begins to get in the way of their career development. Managers may understand the rationale that informs the “red tape” but having to say no to certain good ideas such as flexible working arrangements might leave them disgruntled.15

Not all company lose their best employee without a purpose. I have researched and discovered that some company strategically lay off their best employee because of salary and other incentives.

If a management refuse to Provide a platform for employees to speak their minds freely within the organization they will leave for another company that values their skills. In such an organization it becomes difficult to share ideas to make the company grow ant the best would be to leave.
well, the ideal way of treating employees is by treating all of them equally, singling one out as the best of them is the fastest way to crumble the personnel department of an organization. Also, no matter how good an employee is, always see them as dispensable. So that they won't turn themselves to something else.

The top employees often leave when the corporate bureaucracy begins to get in the care of their career development. Managers can understand the reason why information notification of "Red Tape" but do not say some good ideas such as elastic working arrangements will leave them unhealthy.

in other to make employees coffer ideas and feel free to criticize and commit to continuous improvement of the business, an enabling environment must be provided. A business that wants to grow must have and inclusive plan with all stakeholders. The employees plays a major role in achieving the success of the business hence to retain the best employee is key to the companies growth.

Most companies loose their best employees when what they benefits from the company does not commensurate with the effort, ideas, and energy they contributed to the company to move it forward. When a company does not consider the welfare and well-being of it staff, it is likely for them to move to another company that offers them a better package.

The most importan reason of loosing a best employ is a sallery issue If you’re paying your employees a salary that is significantly lower than the market rate, with this issue you will loose your best employee definatley... And If an organization fails to communicate its goals employees can soon lose drive and direction.

the corporate bureaucracy starts moving towards career advancement, top employees often leave. Managers may understand the "red tape" mentality, but some good ideas, such as not talking about flexible work arrangements, can be offensive.

As we know many companies lose their good employees. This is because companies pay their employers a good salary Many companies do not treat their employees well or treat them well which makes their employers unhappy and they leave the company.

When owner not trusted their employees. When owner not increase their salary. When owner don't value the employee work. When owner don't respect their employees.when owner disrespect all staff to the employees.

@ALI25 reverse is the case for big companies that value employees that gives their best to the company. Top companies try to please their employees knowing it will help retain them. Also, it guarantees increased level of productivity because the company is willing to motivate it workers.

I feel this has to the with leadership skills, a good leader leads by following the opinion of the masses. Managers are clearly responsible for decision making but stating the problem to be solved in a meeting with employees can literally make complex problems solved smartly.

@Ayoknl I agree with your comment above. Discussing the problem at hand with employees of the company can prove very effective in solving problems facing the company. Managers don't like to take advice from employees, they only like to dish out command and tasks.

A clear and well-communicated vision is imperative. If
an organization fails to communicate its goals
employees can soon lose drive and direction. If there is
an absence of vision, people may look for inspiration in a
different organization.
