Yay for being off all weekend!
I went up to work to try to hang up the LED lights... ended up not being enough so ordered some on Amazon and came back home to be on the computer for most of the evening.

We were expecting it to be another scorcher here as well but we have been lucky. I do feel for those who are stuck with the really high temperatures though, I remember last year when we had over 100-degree weather, I struggled badly and seeing that some places are getting higher than that now is awful.Happy Friday @Shortie

It's humid here but tolerable.
Today's high is 98 degrees, but we've been in the 100's the last 3 weeks or so. This week highest according to my app is 103... It's thrilling lol. I know that most of europe doesn't really have air conditioning, I can't imagine having the 100 degree weather and not being able to really cool down!We were expecting it to be another scorcher here as well but we have been lucky. We do have air conditioning units that we can buy but they can be quite costly to purchase and to run. We also have standing fans that do not cost as much to run so that does work but when it gets 100 and above, the humidity is what hits us the most and it's awful to do anything in.
They are saying we could get really hot weather in August at some point so I am not looking forward to that if it does happen.
Being pretty surrounded by water makes that hard too. We feel the humidity, I'm about 6-7 hours from the ocean and it can get bad, I can't imagine living closer to the coast!
I live very close to the coast and it always seems to be further inland seems to be a little less humid. It's definitely not nice to deal with and I can understand now why some people choose not to live near the coast!
When I visited family that lived further north, aways from the ocean, it always felt much more dry and goodness I LOVED it. I didn't mind the heat at all lol.
Greetings everyone! It's super hot where I live, we broke the record high yesterday and even today. I'm staying mostly indoors today, I've only been outside once just to take the trash out. It's my weekend now since I get three day weekends. I've got a few article ideas for my website that I will be writing at some point today, and I've got some editing to do on a few videos for my youtube channel. I've also got D&D with one of my friends at work tomorrow evening.

Update on my plans for the day - not going to work, because I forgot I don't have a key to my old room and some of my decorations are in there. Oh well. xD

I'm not really quite sure yet. I'm off all weekend for once, but I'm sure I'll mostly be staying at home doing the usual stuff I always do.
