Weekend's almost over. Had a fun day out with mum and now I'm watching Netflix for a bit before I go to bed. Work tomorrow, ugh. It's a bank holiday but this one has to work. 😅

My schedule is T-Fri and I luckily get paid for tomorrow even though I'm off and it's a holiday here. I think most of my company has the option to work considering we have a massive transition that's been taking place over this weekend but I opted not to do so. The pay on top of holiday + OT would've been really nice though.

We get bank holidays paid too but I always forget to take time off on them, lol. I automatically work on holidays if I don't specifically ask for time off and since not going to school anymore I don't know what holidays are when and by the time I do, it's too late to get time off. But eh, it's chill, not much work.

Hello hello. I’m fighting off bronchitis and sleeping the weekend away lol. Hopefully everyone has a good Monday!

@cynosure.x i totally understand not knowing when holidays are. I don’t but as a teacher I know some of them because the kids get off school for some while I have to work and etc.

The dreaded week is here. Everything's done, the lawyers have all my money, and my flat purchase completes this week! My current place is now a maelstrom of boxes and packing. (But I'm not actually moving until a couple of weeks' time. Just taking it slow.)

Bumpy road to get here, few times especially in the last couple of weeks there were some angry angry emails about getting it back on the rails.

Glad you’re getting there though! It’s good to take a move slow when you’re able to. Hope the road gets less and less bumpy as you get closer to the actual move!

We were cooking tacos semi-frequently, and if we didn't cook them we would buy them. I get so tired of cooking, and then I get so tired of bringing in food too.

Solved a problem that was bugging me for a bit; am working on a retro project and needed to open some old image data, but it's in a pretty cryptic format that is... shall we say difficult to manage in modern era programming. But all good now.

Yup, especially if it relies on a completely different way of thinking to get your head around, as this does, but retro computing stuff tends to do that.
