I can honestly believe it. People branch out further and further from the main city. That's what happened here it started out in Dallas then people went to Garland/Mesquite, then people began moving to Frisco/Plano... 10 years later a place named Forney started getting a lot of traffic. The city I live in was part of that blow up as well.

True - having to deliver to peoples doorsteps and etc I'm sure can be pretty sketchy from time to time, or the areas you might have to go to because of it.
People probably don't like living in overly large cities sometimes, and their town ends up becoming overly large in the future.

I delivered down a gravel road in a foresty area last time I DoorDashed, I was a bit spooked by that.

I don’t think I would like to go down a forestry area with a gravel road either… lol no thank you!

How's everyone doing? Sorry I didn't post more than I should had, because in the spirit of Mental Health Awareness month, I had to break myself away from the forum toxicity that happened 2 weeks ago that I want no more to do with.
Totally understand. :) glad you’ve returned!

I’m still getting over bronchitis so a bit of a struggle but I don’t feel like I’m in a fog anymore at least.

Totally understandable, welcome back buddy!

Just woke up from a much-needed nap. Didn't get much sleep last night and I work 4 hours overnight tonight, so hopefully, I'm ready to take on the night ahead!
Glad you got a nap in! Working overnight can definitely make your sleep schedule wonky too. Hopefully you have enough sleep for tonight!

I was up until 2AM last night watching Netflix because I had gotten so much sleep throughout the day yesterday. Then I woke up at like 8 today so I'm a bit tired, but pushing through D:

Indeed, I use to work full 8-hour shifts overnight at Walmart for several months and it jacks your schedule up big time. My brother currently works overnight at Kroger, but he prefers it so he can deal with fewer people and he doesn't get out much often in the daytime anyway when he didn't work overnight.

That does seem to be the bonus of working over nights. Our Walmarts here close at 12AM now, so I would imagine working overnight even there would be better! I always felt bad for the workers/stockers late at night because typically people were drunk or annoying that late at night and then having to move around people would be a bit difficult I'm sure.

I had a few weird things happen to me when I worked overnight, like the time a bunch of teens drove up beside me and a girl said if you buy us some beer I'll show you my boobs. I just walked off.
