And it's back to 2AM storms... don't know what is has been going on lately.. but this is 3 nights in a row, almost same time.

Ouch! I hate those mornings. Yeah I check the forums about every 2 hours when I wake up. Pass right back out though most of the time lol. Aw yay! That does sound like a super exciting day!
I’m okay! I set my alarm to wake my husband up for work because he didn’t want to get back out of bed to get his phone. So now I’m awake because it is time for work for him. Luckily it’s not that early.
The storms last night were super loud here but the light show was sure pretty.

He is a mechanic.
He mostly does oil changes and etc, but does occasionally have a big job to do. Some days he's just the sales guy too. They rotate at his current shop which I think helps a lot.
He has work on Sundays? 😩
Yeah some shops work differently, his is one that is actually opened on Sundays. He gets two days off during the week off. I think from now on it will be Wednesdays and maybe Fridays off? Not sure. His new off days are starting this week.

I know he hates working on Ford typically lol. He has complained a few times about them. I hear him enjoy working on Toyotas - we ended up buying him a Toyota (Taco) Tacoma because of that. He works on kinds though, anyone that will stop by. I've seen some beautiful cars as well even there. He wants to open his own shop one day as well! I remembered you owned your shop which is pretty awesome!
Ohh okay, still having 2 days off is good. Sucks he doesn't have a normal weekend though.
Yeah it does suck! Most jobs here though don't really have a normal weekend either besides teachers or people working in some government jobs. He had weekends off for a bit at the previous shop but they kept cutting his hours unfortunately.
Yeah I own a small shop. I get that he hates Fords, lol. Americans are shit at building cars, Germany is where the quality is at. Japan is cool too!

I'm not one to talk, I work 6/7 every other week. 😆 I do get lots of overtime so I'm off work lots as well.
Wow that’s incredible looking Cedric! He would dream of that! American built has gotten worse now a days for sure.
Lol I wish I could get overtime! Im off but I work on the weekends.
A bit tough to take overtime and be off work when you're a teacher. 😅

Honestly this job is the only one I've done for so long. I got fired from previous jobs after about 2 years. Been doing this one for +6 years now. Could do with better pay but I get around. It gets tough sometimes but then you just take a month off work to completely disconnect from work and reconnect with yourself. It's what I do lmao.Because we are at the age where we are reflecting on if we are happy doing what we do
6+ years is amazing! I can believe it gets tough taking a month off of work - but I know mentally it can be needed! I get two months semi off. kinda. It always ends up so busy though.
I mean you randomly take 1 month off because we don't have set times we're off work. We work all through the year and decide for ourselves when we want time off. My yearly holiday is always at least 3 weeks in september. Last year I had September and October off, 2 full months. I loved it. At this moment I have 150 hours of overtime and 110 hours official vacation. 😅
Many people think teachers get a lot of vacation because when students are not in school, teachers don't have to work but it takes lots of planning and grading and preparing I bet.
