Welp I didn't make it into work today. We were getting frozen rain here and my work thought the roads were clear enough for people to make it into work despite part of I-70 westbound being shut down. The schools are also closed today and many other businesses are opening later. I hope I don't get in trouble for taking the day off but my life is worth way more than a job IMO. There's at least 5 other people who called in just in my department alone, and I couldn't even actually call HR to report my absence. So on my way I decided "Yeah nope, the roads are too bad for this." I turned around and called in using the intranet system my work uses once I got home.

Luckily, anytime bad weather happens, we're permitted to work from home. I typically WFH 2 out of the 4 days anyway though. Only days I'm in office is Wednesday and Thursday.

Turns out there were a huge amount of people who called off at my work yesterday, and yet they don't want to excuse anyone's absence. Instead we have to use our pto, vacation, or floating holiday to make up for it. When I joined this company about five years ago they were great, I heard many good things about them and they were always looking out for their employees but now it just seems like they've gone downhill a bit.

Nothing exciting just laundry lol. I'm going to finally get around to finishing my Turok 3 Melee Weapons/Bow only video and get it uploaded to Youtube at some point. I also plan on playing more Palworld too lol.

Took our dog to the vet today to get a nail trim. Her nails grow like 10 times as fast as our other dog. I guess it's a breed type of thing.

I'm working 5 days this upcoming week instead of 3 like I did this week, so more money in my pocket.
