Number of employees in a venture.

Another office needed in a new and growing business or for someone going into a business venture, is the office of a consultant. Tho this might not be a permanent office in the organization, it could be a temporary one. But i believe a professional in that field is needed to give advice and help out until the business is fully established.

Excellent @eLdavis , I love your suggestion regarding the temporary consultant. Since it is necessary at the beginning of a company, for any doubt or situation that arises we get the right guidance.
 
Actually, we can't dispute the fact that some personnel will be heading different positions in a business. But I think the number of employees depends on the size of the business. Of course large business will need more positions than small size business.

Yes. When the business is in starting stage, at that time few employees will be enough for the business. But as your business grow with time, you need to hire different people for different positions.
Yeah well said, it's true as time goes on and if the business is doing well too then more employees would be needed in the business so we never can tell in the beginning how many employees would be sufficient

But the expenditure is calculated on the ratio. Suppose you have an active office and unit hundred employees, but if you take more than this hundred then that will affect the expenditure.

I think you should hire employees according to the workload and the kind of job required to be done. You should not hire too many or too less employees for jobs. There should always remain a balance when it comes to hiring proper number of employees for specific jobs.

Yes staffs like the ones mentioned can be changed at anytime as they are not proffesionally based. But those that are proffesionally based like the accountants and managers need careful selection

Such kind of staff get changed more often than you might think because there comes a time when the employer start demanding more and more and the employee simply cannot handle the workload, so they simply quite or get fired. However, it is not that easy to fire a good employee who is at a higher designation.

This you describe is very true, when managers push employees, and these in turn can not cope with the burden or simply consider that this is too much for the benefit they receive, they feel abused and exploited and quit. That is why it is important to have a conscience as an employer towards all workers.

There is a case in point as I saw in the news the other day. The workers went to the media to complain of too much work. A heavy workload would be okay but the workers were not paid for overtime work. The labor arbiter advised a mediated agreement for the company to hire more workers.
 
If he business is a new business, for a start, it wise not to start employing much hands in the business. Wait till you have gotten a hang on things and profits starts to come in before looking for more hands
