There is nothing wrong as a business owner if we see a highly performing employee and reward them. This will serve as a mean of motivation and inspiring them do perform better. Some business owners do not take this very important but it's a part of business management strategy.

You could reward him or her with bonuses and extra benefits once in awhile but he should be aware the reasons why he gets these benefits so it wount get to his head.

You are right, motivation is one of the cores of progress in your business and one that can boost efficiency. You will do this by giving them work bonuses and time to rest.

The best way for you to compliment a worker or business employee is through positive and encouraging compliments, you can also give them a surprise package because this will encourage them and its will also boost their morale for them to do more.

Just like you rightly said it is very important for every business to be able to retain their most skilled and experienced employees I think the best motivating factor is money.

For most business to really have a competitive edge in the sector they operate in,one of the most vital needs for growth,is the avialability of skilled manpower and personel to help drive the vision of the firm or business. What are some of the ways to motivate such employees to stay longer on the job.
I guess the only way to motivate your employee is by giving them some good appraisal at the end of their works, and try as much as possible to be appreciating their job welldone as well.

That is very true,we experience this in course of our service to our clients,i found out that what makes some of our employees stay longer is the incentives and the freedom to express themself while they were carying out ther job.

When an employee do well their is every chance of the employee applauding its hard work, and given out some incentive adding to its scheduled salary. Nothing motivates more than that.

promotion is one of the ways to motivate an employee in your business organisation because this will give them the power and the eagerness to do more, this is what a lot of companies have been doing to boost and improved a business organisation.

I too agree. Promotion as well as bonuses are two driving factors. Everyone do hard work, but when they will get bonuses they will work ever harder. It is like boosting up their motivation level.

Ofcourse, when an employee sees that his effort is been rewarded he or she will want to put in more effort and find means to be innovative to improve his performance,it will be a win-win.

The issue of respect is very important, because it is from the way you treat and relate with them, they will carry that same image and mindset into how they perform their role. And giving them a free role to make suggestions on how the job operations can be improve.

If you are operating a business that requires high-skilled employees you always have to try as much as possible to motivate them from time to time because if you lose them, you might hardly see such skilled labour.
Motivating a skilled employee help to increase the output of the employee and help to also boost the employee never going to see that his potentials are well needed in the organisation.

It is very important for business people to always motivate their workers because it gives them the morale to work very hard for the success of the business.

Yes @tyrim88, when your work rate is appreciated and you earn some extra bucks from it aside from the normal salary stipend he or she receives. That is course fir motivation for any employee.

Exactly, not just motivating them to do a better job but also motivating to stay. Many skilled workers are always looking for places where their full potential can be utilized to the maximum and also they would want to be in a placed where they are being appreciated

It is a glaring fact that motivation of workers goes a long way in encouraging them towards working harder. There is nothing more encouraging than to see efforts appreciated

yes it can help them to work harder and it can also help people who have not receive the promotion and the bonus to work harder,in fact this is one of the best way to improve and boost the working atmosphere of your organisation.

Even I also worked in an organisation where incentives are very often given. Being able to grab such bonuses, not only increases the loyalty regarding the company but also help in giving better performance in future.
