Everybody loves being praised for a job weldone. We should learn how to motivate our workers for what they are doing. This will enable them to do more. Even if they are not trying. Motivation can make them try harder.
 
I think giving them some free money at time, and also paying them at when due is actually an easy way of motivating them, cos all work no pay makes jack a dull boy. Assisting them when they are in need too is also another way of motivation, no matter the types of knowledge you impact in them, I think providing them with is well worth it.
 
Actually I'v found myself in that position before where our employee as never encourage us with anything. But then u usually talk about increase in salaries, more allowance, poor field trip etc er believe can even encourage us more.
