To coordinate the world's knowledge and make it available and usable to all.

To empower people to share and to make the world a more accessible and connected place.

To enable every individual and organisation on the planet to achieve greater success.

Can you identify the well-known businesses based on the first few sentences of their mission statements? These (Google, Facebook, and Microsoft, respectively) mission statements

Yes it should be a consideration to a new startup company or existing one to consider hiring skillful employees who believe in mission and vision statement of your company cause when such is done it will be easier for your business to grow faster.
Exactly the growth of the company relies on the staff so it is really imperative for employees to believe in every thing the company stands for. Every company should make this a priority when hiring staff

Of what point is it if they read the mission and vision statement and they do not believe in it? What that implies is that they will not work towards it and if it requires that they push a little bit more that their normal routine, they won't because they only want to work at their pace and not help fullfil some vision you're carrying about.

Actually, you cannot make your employees understand your mission or motivate them to do well unless or until you treat them well. Unfortuantely, many employers do not understand this. Why would an employee work for you or expand your business if you do not provide them benefits or treat them well? One of the basic principles of employee development is to treat them well and pay them well.

You don't hire or employ people who do not believe in your mission statement, it going to end up a disaster. When you want to employ, you employ those who believed in what you do so as to help move it or achieve the goals for which the business was being set up for. Hiring those who doesn't believe in your mission statement is like employing your enemy to work for you.

It is more than important to hire an employee who will understand the vision and mission of your company and who is ready to work towards them for the success of the organization.

Well said, competence should be key in hiring. An employee might have the same vision at the beginning but as time goes on that could change, it all depends on the employer too
it is not necessary to hire somebody that believe in mission and vision of your business. what is your average job description of what the person needs to do and how to do it who is the punishment that comes for failure to do it that's all. The only thing you can do is true create a culture that goes with the vision and mission of your company so that the worker can align themselves to it.
