How to Build a Great Team?

Building a great team is the dream of every management but it comes with a cost.

I’m not saying you should overpay. To have a great team the management must be generous. Generosity, combined with a reputation for fairness along with exciting work is a winning formula to build a great team.

Is it wise for the management to overpay staff members?
Its not wise for management to overpay staff... If the organisation is new and they wanted to attract there best staff by over overpaying them, then that will be a big mistake.

In order to build a great team, you need to have a capacity to choose the right people, you need to choose people with related knowledge, skills, experience and temprament.
 
Building a great and efficient team they are lots of things to be considered you definitely need a competent leader someone who is definitely of high standard and the whole team accepts him.
 
To me the primary aimed of entrepreneurship is profit making and interest in his place of investment so for a manager to over pay his workers in the name of building a team then he has violated his primary goal for profit. so to me the best Avenue is to motivate his workers and granting them bonus at work.
 
To build a great team, you will have to identify the particular aim that the team will hope to achieve. After this, then you will look out to people who share this particular goal.
 
Every business person or company desires to build a great team. A greeting is a group of passionate people who are ready to work and make research for the progress of the business.

I think I have made a contribution to this topic before but let me still add this one. It is very important to build a great team in any business because there will be zeal to work passionately.

Overpaying employees wouldn't turn them into a great team overnight. Only reward competent and hard-working employees and watch them increase productivity. If you keep overpaying, you will only have those who just want to come in for the benefit only.
Team building is a very important aspect of entrepreneurship. This is required leadership skill to move a business forward. The best way to start building a great team is to be ready to lead by example. When you set a pace, people are likely to follow you.

Respect your team members as individuals.
Engender connections within the team.
Practice emotional intelligence.

You are not wrong at all in this your saying as being generous or appearing generous is one of the ways which you can boost a good working environment.
 
The first step to building a great team is understanding the members of your team. Know their strengths , know their weakness. Most times some team leaders always find it hard to flow with their team because they dont actually know these things about their team and they dont even know the various difficulties they might be facing.
 
A great team would be great for any business and building one would take some consideration but after that is done, the effective management of the team for then have an impact on output
 
Having a great team doesn't necessarily mean that you would have to overpay or pay much. Seeing as the Labour market today is oversaturated, I think what you need to do is just to interview a couple of people and see Who fits the requirements
 
the first step for you to go about it is for you to have a good trusted members because trust is one of the things that you will need if you need to build up a great team of people that have the same vision and goal like you. and tell them the importance of what you are doing
A good array of reliable members on your team will definately give you the needed results to acheive graet success in you establisment.Money is a factor,but once the team members understands the vision of the what they are engaged in,they will produce a good result.
 
To build a great team is not an easy task. The bigger task lies on the hand of the management. The management needs to build up what is called mutual respect and trust. Also there should be disipany. Leading by example, should not show others that she has a favorite worker. There should be complete love and unison.
True though, to build a great team as a leader, you should have management skills to be able to manage not just the resources but also the people, their strengths and their weakness. Everyone in a team has a role to play and as a leader you should know when to use them. And the only way you can do this is by studying your team
 
I don’t think there’s really anything like over pay because different companies differ in how much they pay their employees.You can pay your employees any amount you want in as much you’re not affected and your sales is still increasing
 
You can only build a great team by understanding the needs of each member of the team. You will need to understand the strength and weaknesses of each member in the course of achieving the goals of the business.
 
It is not required to over pay staff members for creating a great team. In today's uncertain world, if one can offer stability for a longer period of time with fair management approach and trust, we will be able to find great staff members and create a great team.
 
Overpaying the employee in a team doesn't guarantee a good team. The actual fact is that the employee must be dedicated to their work. If they get paid heavily without been dedicated to the job they won't be productive
 
A business has a structure and renumeration is pert of that structure, employees renumeration should be increased over time not instantly to avoid over paying which may lead to the employee misbehaving.

Some employees could receive more than they are supposed to but still not meet the Managers expectations. So it is better not to even consider the option of over paying.
