How to avoid professional jealousy among employees

As an employer, you should try as much as possible to carry all your staff along.
If you are giving some set of staff preference over others, it may lead to jealousy.

There will always be preferential treatment of workers in the organization. To avoid this jealousy, make sure the treatment is due to the staff's Performance and not by personal reasons
 
In any company love should be the first thing among the staff's . Showing it to specify people it's not good,their qualifications is important and it should not be known among the staff's. Anything that will cause jealousy should be avoided among them.
 
The management of the company must be watchful and avoid favoritism in the workplace. They should never place one worker over the other. They should have no favorite among the workers. They should make a way for peaceful coexistence in the workplace.
 
I believe the qualifications of the employees should also be kept a secret, to prevent the employees from comparing each other's qualifications to know who is fit or not fit for a particular position as a result of their qualifications.

The address of each should also be confidential, any employee that decide to disclose his, should do it at their own volition.

I do not think that this would be possible. This is because when employees interact with each other, they tend to share each and every thing. I am sure that they will definitely share this information with each other as well and start comparing themselves with others.

You have a point there, you made mention of merit and number of years, but what about a situation where the years is there, they have been working for some years now but in terms of merit, there are others with less years but doing a better job, what would you do?

But in most organization for the worker's to be more serious there still needs to be ranking , although not to be too obviously that the employee would notice that there is too much favouritism

Thanks for the enlightenment, but an employers cannot treat everyone the same in a business organisation because there are people with higher position in most business organisation and you don't expect them to be treated the same way as people in the lower position are being treated , everyone have to concentrate in their own business that is just the only way.

One of the ways to avoid jealousy in the workplace is to avoid gossiping with other colleagues in the workplace. Gossiping usually leads to bad mouthing and you should never get yourself involved. People want to drag you into it but you should never yield in it.

Treated unequally like how ? there must be a reason because the corruption will be to clear, well I have never seen such before because in most business organisation I'm seeing here everything is being done properly.

That is true. If the jealousy is caused by not treating employees equally, then it will for sure bring so much harm than good. Therefore, it is best to treat every employee equally in an organisation. That is how you will end such kind of jealousy.
