For those of us who are freelancers, it can sometimes feel like forever before we see our first sale as a freelancer. Getting that first sale tends to boost our confidence and push us to keep going even when we feel like giving up.

I started freelance work, it took me a few months to get my first sale and I was so happy when I got my first sale that it pushed me to keep going and completing sales to my best which then followed with customers coming back to place more orders.

Upwork was the first freelancing site I joined. It was called oDesk back then. I managed to get my first order in less than a month.I had a very successful friend (virtual) working on oDesk and she recommended me to a client.
