General How do you get ideas for your blog posts?

In the past, I used to write for search engines. When I searched for something online and did not find appropriate content on the topic, I would research on the idea and create a blog post. This strategy helped me to get higher ranks and brought me good traffic and revenue. But these days I mostly write about the topic that I am passionate about. I do not care whether the topic has search value or not, the only think I make sure is that the topic is not overly saturated. However, when I write for clients, I write on the topics I am hired to write for.

When it comes to blog writing, I tend to write on topics I am strongly interested in, such as gaming and wrestling. In the past, I have also written webmaster articles. I find that what I am interested in tends to have a lot to write about.

It is easier to write on your own idea compared to writing one someone else's idea. However, as a freelance writer or a professional writer, you will have to frequently write for others and you will have to explore ideas that are not actually did not originate in your head. You should write on the topics you are interested on but we don't get that liberty very often.
