How are you feeling today?

Worried about my spouse. They have been having lower abdominal pains since yesterday and since they got worse overnight they went to see their primary care doctor. She ended up recommending that my spouse get a scan done, but they have to wait until Friday. I'm also a bit depressed since one of my coworkers also passed away today. He was 60 years old and lost his battle with cancer. He overcame it last year and was able to come back to work for about a week or so. But then his health took a turn for the worse, and he lost his fight today. Today wasn't a good day...

My condolences, hope everything turns better soon.

Feeling a little defeated at the moment with some personal things going on but pushing through and keeping going. Other than that I am feeling okay and hoping for things to get better soon.

Ouch I hope you can get it fixed soon! :S I'm doing much better today. Just a bit tired but it's my weekend now so I plan on relaxing and working on projects all weekend. Of course I'll be taking care of my spouse too. They get a scan tomorrow at 2:15 CST, so I'll definitely keep you all informed.

You're welcome! And man that bites! I know the fifth is just a few weeks away but sometimes that can be far away especially when it comes to medical stuff. Hopefully you can find relief prior to your appointment.

I'm feeling decent, was up for over 24 hours recently, but got 8 hours of sleep after that.

I'm feeling really shitty honestly. State testing and we had the same kids until 2:56PM and they weren't allowed to talk or sit on the floor or anything. It was just a lot. People didn't follow the rules and that BOTHERED me to the core. At dismissal kids were supposed to be quiet but weren't. Which means the teachers didn't tell them to be quiet and were not monitoring them. Just frustrated me further. Then I had a meeting after this starting at 4. At the meeting it was just a lot of reminders of all the to-do's which wasn't bad - good discussions just more to put on my list though.

Then I text my husband because I was going to pick dinner up for us both because he was out fishing. He said no he rather go out to eat at the place tomorrow... but the thing is if I'm this exhausted tomorrow I can't eat there tomorrow either. Didn't matter.

I'm just frustrated with today and I feel like it is all on deaf ears and I'm annoyed.

Feeling much better than I was earlier on in the day as I had a migraine that was annoying me. I have been able to get quite a bit of work done and I am working things out at the moment which I am hoping will help me and my family in the long run

weirdly nervous. I'm participating in a writing competition today - the 'what we're writing' prompt arrived this morning, the deadline is tonight (short story!) and I have nothing. No story that fits the requirements has yet come to mind.
