I agree with the bad effects of a lazy employee on the business operation. However, it is not easy to spot a lazy employee. It will take months and maybe even years before you can determine the behavior. Most of the lazy employees that I know are good in hiding their bad trait.Hiring a lazy employee in your business is like pouring water inside a leaking bowl. I agree with you. Lazy employees are not willing to work but very much willing to receive a lot of money. Hardworking people really works hard in order to receive their hard earned money. Well that is true but you may not be able to know who is a lazy employee, you just need to hire them first from there you will be able to know and observe most of their characters and behaviour.It is better for you to hire a hard-working employee than hiring a lazy employee because a lazy employee will make your work slow
I do not see any advantage in hiring a lazy employee no one ever because a lady employee would definitely drag down the productivity of any business venture as they would not want to do any work but they will really want to get paid for doing nothing.I keep asking myself why Big companies keep lazy Employees. A CEO of Top Tech company once said he will hire the laziest of all employees to do the hardest Job reason being that such employees due to their nature will device an easier way or technique to get the Job done which tend to be more effective and efficient using less productive hours. Most big companies outdere use this method to get job done because it's cost effective while maintaining the quality as specified by the job description. I once experiment this and the result was awesome ever since and I also noticed some companies have a ratio of lazy Employees they keep at work which ranges from 10% -20% of the total working employees.
