I agree with you on this anyway. This jack of all trades is actually master of none, so sometimes we need to be specific in whatever we want to do. But I am in no way against diversity while earning money because it will be somewhat foolish to depend wholely on only one source of income.

You are right by the word saying its not good to lay all your egg in one basket but i still believe you have to take it one at a time , making sure one business is already established and doing well before starting another.

Sometimes it depends on individuals capacity but to me, I will prefer to run multiple business rather than running one or concentrating on a single business even though it will lead to specialisation of duty but the income generation can not be compare to that of multiple business.
