Education or Learning a skill?

Education is important and always will be at all times. Although in a way, many times when they graduate it is difficult to get a good job, but that does not discourage them. Such studies are always good to have and learn skills that add to the wisdom of each person.

If if I had not gone to school, I won't be here earning on this forum, so I can't say that formal education is not important.

It's just important to have both skills and education in case one doesn't work out.

Of course you are right by saying acquiring a skill and a degree would help someone to go far in life. Both are needed to complement each other. Education adds value to any skill someone learnt. So it is a good advice to learn skills and education.

Thank you for that. I even think learning this skills before going to school or while in school can even help a student to generate income while studying and as a matter of fact making the two to complement each other by earning while learning.

I think both things are valuable for a business and job as seen that skill have more important than education and it will make your skill more they are also different as in education everyone have skill.

I have told people times without a number that education can not be underrated or relegated. It is deduction that would make your skills usable. Without education, there a limit of what you can achieve in life even with a very good skill. Your skills without education might not make you the boss if any organization. But education can place you beyond what you could imagine

I still think education is essential. But to each his own. If somebody succeeds even without government planned education plan, and learns a lot by other means, whether that be trainings or seminars or by life itself, then a diploma is not exactly a deal breaker. We all can succeed in our own way.

in our country most of the peoples want to learn a skill rather then education.. due to some circumstances as poverty peoples believe their is no jobs for those persons who are well educated..so they prefers to go learn some skills and earn money to fulfill their needs ..

The two should not be compared because they perform different roles. Education doesn't necessary mean ticket to mansion but a means to mansion. While skill may fetch you more money if you are really skillful. Education will give chance to meet great people in great places.
