I have realised over the years that women care about and spend more money on their hair so if you want to make money it will be advisable for you to open a beauty salon.

As for the US, OR barbershops only offer men's haircuts, and beauty salons do women's mostly. But you can often meet women working in barbershops and vice versa. Both of them are profitable. As for me, I much prefer barbershops than salons. The atmosphere in barbershops is easy and calm, and you can truly relax there. As for education, IMO in salons, the probability of finding a specialist who has studied in esthetician schools is higher than in barbershops. But, usually, barbers are more experienced.

In my country, Beauty Salons are businesses where both ladies and gentlemen go to cost their hair, comb it, perform hair grafts with professional stylists.
In the case of barbershops, it is usually only for men, where haircuts, beards, mustaches and the like are made.
How does it work in your country? What is so profitable?

I believe a beauty saloon should be more profitable than a barber saloon. In beauty shops, you can make hair, nails, make up etc whereas a barbing saloon is basically to cut hair

It's very similar here in South Carolina, USA as well. Barbers typically do the men's beards, hair, etc. Salons will do women's hair and all types of other professional styling.

Beaut saloon business is very very lucrative business here in my country, so going into such business is really good business if actually you really know what you are doing, you can make good money from it.

I think it's much more profitable to open a beauty salon than a barbershop. As someone has said, you can provide different services in a beauty salon. Accordingly, your profit will be higher. In my country both are very lucrative, both men and women are making a cleaning every time, so therefore when men are shaving their head, the women are also make a reasonable hairdressing of different styles.

Barbing saloon is a good and lucrative business like you said and I even on shops around my area that makes more than $20on a daily basis , but beauty salon busines is far more lucrative than barbing business because the females normally do their hair every week
