Why do employees quit in your view? Personally, I think most of the time it's because a boss is being a boss. They should rather be a leader and lead the team to the right direction.
The also truth is some people are bosses on there own without them knowing it so no matter what they don't feel comfortable when people boss them around

If an employee who works at a particular place for a very long time sees an opportunity to be employed in one that pays him or her quite well enough, such an employee will certainly leave his old job for the new

Employees quit there jobs for different reasons some because of poor management, some quit due to them getting a better paid jobs and some quit because they have saved enough to start their business.

A boss should be a boss no doubt, but it shouldn't make him harsh or rude. I think warning should be issued out first and if the employee doesn't change, punishment should follow

Definitely, there are times when a worker feels like leaving a particular place of work due to some reasons. Some of those reasons may be the change in the attitude of the boss. Seriously, no one stays and keep working where he or she is not comfortable. If it down to choosing one's peace of mind and the work, most people will resign and look for other alternatives.

Bad bosses can be a reason why employees quit, but another strong reason we tend to underestimate is the type of working environment and relationships formed there. When the general population of workers don't work together well, this can prompt the employee to look elsewhere.

Most of the reason are, low pay despite the fact that they work hard, poor working conditions in the place of work or the attitude of their employers to them.

Employees quit due to many reasons. From low renumeration, job satisfaction to health hazards. These factors all contribute significantly.

If you look at it well, an employees that see a better job will leave especially if the pay is poor and the working condition is also poor. Some might like to work in a close play also.
