Who visits a library?

I visit a library to use the computers. In fact, I'm using one now. Anyway, does anyone go for other reasons? Well, when I was a kid in the 80s, the internet hadn't come into being. In that case, people had to go to libraries to get information. Do you feel that info was better?

I have no use for a library since I have a computer and I read little to none. I used to go there consistently as a kid because my father has been a big reader his whole life. I'd love to read more, but I think technology has killed my attention span to do so.

I haven't gone to a public library in such a long time. I used to go once to twice a week and absolutely loved it. I love a good quiet library. I love the books. The smells.. the quiet. I remember going and my grandpa would mostly be using their technology in some form. I got to play games on the computer and just relax a bit!

Now a days I just go to technology to discover and read new books.

the library is within walking distance but it's been years since I used the library for things, like books or online. I end up buying books or online reading. library is still good for information about your town thought

No. I have no desire to visit the town library. Students visit to research things on their assignments and everyone else wants to go there to use the computers and the free WiFi.

I used to go to the library quite a lot with a friend but stopped going as you can read books online now.
I also have books at home, so I don't have to borrow a book from the library anymore.

I used to go back when I was a kid to use the public computers (mainly to use online chat rooms hahaha, so lame). But I haven’t been to one in years. I don’t read books so don’t really have a need to go.

I haven't been to the library in a few years now. For a while my spouse and I were going almost every day, just to get out of the house. Eventually we stopped going though.

Dude! I used to basically live at the library! Most of my childhood and teen years were spent gloriously searching each shelf one by one, from fiction to non-fiction, books about dinosaurs and dog breeds, books about magic and talking cats. I love the smell of libraries, the sound of paper shuffling and floors gently creaking. During my late teens and early adult years, I even volunteered at both my school library and the local branch. My best friend and I made fliers for teen events, like anime nights and board games. They're some of my fondest memories.

I haven't stepped into a library in several years now and I miss the tactile experience. Lately I just use the app Libby to borrow books but it's not the same. Both reading on a device (I prefer the paper) and not being able to go into the library and spend a couple hours browsing and collecting books to take home.
