Ok, my biggest achievement so far! The Ubuntu 24.10 " Oracular Oriole " was released on October 10 th. It has my wallpaper included with the default pack.

I think it’s such an interesting question because web design and development each bring different elements to a website's success! I lean more toward the creative side, so design appeals to me, but development is fascinating too. Working with a graphic design company in Dubai has shown me how both areas work in harmony. Designers make the site visually engaging, while developers ensure it functions smoothly and meets the user’s needs. Each side has its challenges and rewards, so it depends on your strengths and interests.

Not to be a Debby Downer (because I can really appreciate quality graphics).... but
Personally... bespoke graphics harken back to the 2000's. Most of the banners are now done in CSS, granted occasionally using some graphics for the background and such. But most current software does not play well with graphical user group banners. It is an issue of resizing usually.
On the SMF site I help with that became readily apparent when the avatars were much smaller than the fixed graphics until some tweaks were made (and they don't carry over well to mobile).
Sadly, the days of fancy graphics for items like this are on the way out, the same way that a basic forum is pretty much kaput in todays internet needs.
Yes, there will most likely always be a niche that can use them, but that drops month by month as forums go offline and fewer come online.
