What's the most delicious local food from your area of the world?

Forums are a great place, they allow us to meet people from all over the world and to also learn about their different cultures and beliefs. With many people living in different parts of the world, we know that most places have local foods in the place they live.

I live in England, UK and one of the popular foods in the place I live is fish and chips.

In the area you live in, what would you say is the most popular food?

I'm from south Texas, so the best local cuisine is BBQ (and that's always delicious). But I would also point out Brazilian churrascaria, which is such a fun way of eating where they bring out the skewers if fresh cooked meats to slice off onto your plate.

I am based in Nepal, Momos are widely popular here. Momos are dumplings with meat or vegetable fillings eaten with tomato and sesame sauce. After momo, the most populatr dish is dal-bhat. It is steamed rice eaten with lentil soup, green vegetables, pickles, and chicken curry.
