What's the difference between a successful manager and a failed manager??

You have made some very good points, I think a lot of qualities differentiate a good manager from a bad manager. It all comes down to characteristics, some managers don't care for the business, they are malicious, selfish and corrupt.
Whenever a business manager is not committed and dedicated to the jump he or she is doing, he will definitely be losing interest in the work on daily basis which is going to affect its productivity.

I like the last part about hearing the opinion of the employee on the work. The manager is the link between the workers and management. Even small things that the employee would discuss should be given value. In some factories here the workers are left to the care of the labor union which I think is the role of the manager.
When the manager is not actually being a good link between the workers and the management intends to make the business suffer because the workers are not going to be coming here today at work and the manager will not really know what to do.
 
When you actually want to be successful as a business manager for a company that you are in charge of you will definitely need to be very observant of all the business activities that goes on in the company.
If you have a big business organisation , sometimes it might even be very difficult for you to know and understand those people that are trying to collapse your business because you will be spending a lot of your times on other things.

Sadly most managers fall into the category of the bad ones. Labour union is heavily influenced by politics here and this makes it grossly inefficient in taking care of employees.
 
One of the differences between a failed manager and the successful manager, depends on the level of their creativity. A successful manager is someone who is creative, takes correction from his past mistakes and always sensitive in taking decision.
 
The outcome of the business given out will be used to determined to know the effectiveness of the manager whether he's a failed or a succesful manager depending on the outcome.
That's just it. Like I have said earlier, the end will justify the means because not every good manager needs to be lenient all the time. Sometimes you need to be hard and difficult to get your employees to take their work seriously.
 
I live this and I agree with your points, in addition a bad manger will compare you with other people even though your circumstances are different, also the words of a bad manger will always be too harsh.
If you are a successful business manager and believe that the result of your productivity is going to say everything that people need to know about your work and the same thing goes for a failure as a business manager.
 
A failed manager, is someone who had no passion for his workers, he gives directives best on his mood and always interested in hearing comments concerning himself and not the organisation.

A succesful manager is always reliable and delivers whenever he's in a tight corner , he has good communication skills with the workers while an unsuccesful manager always have a non challenge attitude towards work.
 
To me, for someone to be considered as a successful manager, is someone who has experienced failure and learned from his mistakes in other not to happen in the future while the failed manager is someone who does not takes correction or learned from his past mistakes to avoid the same In the future.
 
A successful manager is generally somebody who has been able to deliver the aims and objectives of the company by trying to bring out the best out of the employees. A field manager is somebody who usually does not like to hear the opinions of his customers and his employees and has made the company to lose money.

Being able to deliver and acheive the aims and the objectives , the goals and the target the company is trying to meet is a quality of a good manager while a failed manager is the latter.

There are things also about a successful manager in that he is always in fron and lead the way by show of example with his actions rather than expecting his subordinates to carry out instructions without him doing same.
 
I have seen an unserious minded manager that will always be spying on you inset of calling you and correcting you when you are at fault ,a succesful manager always brings good business idea and carry his surbodinate along

The attributes of a successful manger is to carry the subject along with the activities of the business and she is result oriented. The failed manager never gets a good result.

The yardstick that is used to ascertain whether a manager is successful or not is the end result of the project he /she handles. The result obtained would tell if the manager is successful or not.

A successful manager is somebody who are the end of the day has been able to actualize the company's goals and objective and they are now in profit. A failed manager is somebody who did not do his assignment very well and as such made the employees to be unmotivated.
