What is the difference between nepotism and cronyism?

Nepotism and cryonism are synonymous in the sense that they both consider a candidate based on favoritism not qualifications. Difference is that, Cryonism is just a deeper form in the sense that it talks about narrowing favors to friends and close relatives while nepotism is for family members and friends on a larger scale
I would who adopts this principles. Only greedy and selfish people, I guess. This problem has never been solved, it's still going around till date. It's a sad thing

Nepotism and cronyism points to favouritism. This is exactly the order of the day in Nigeria. Nepotism is common among the northerners and this makes them dominate all works in Nigeria.
 
To my understanding, I dont see any difference between this two word. the word of different spellings but with the same meaning and performance. both this two aim at self interest and making difference between people who belongs to you and those who are not.

Nepotism and cryonism are very similar as they both talk about granting favors but the difference between the two is that cryonism is a much more detailed firm of favor as it considers close relation like immediate family and nepotism is on a wider scale like friends and external families.
 
I dont think there is any form of difference that exist between this two because both are aimed at the same think that given someone and appoint or a particular sensitive office simply because is related to you or your family members.
And seriously this has been a very big problem in our society to do because a lot of people don't really care about doing things the way they are supposed to do but be selfish in all things that they're doing to favour their own kind.
