What are some tips for providing good customer service?

There is no two ways to it. When we don't have the competent hands as employees, it will surely tell on our business. To get the best, we just need to do away with nepotism and favoritism especially when appointing to sensitive posts.

This is something I always tell most business owners or entrepreneurs when it comes to hiring those that are going to work for them to make sure that they hire quality and not quantity. This is because it is better for you to have only three people that are very qualified to carry out their duties working for you than to have 10 people that are not qualified.

I have never seen any customer who declined getting a discount. In fact, most of them even ask for it even they are not being offered. Everyone want to save money off their purchases and it's why it always work as a good strategy to make customers buy more and that increases your sales and profits.

I know what fixed price rate is all about and it's something that is very common in most supermarkets or malls where people go to buy whatever thing they need to buy. The prices of all those products are tagged on them which customers buy and those prices are non-negotiable.

Most entrepreneurs always look for cheap labour. Therefore they always want to have people with lesser competency level. They are just after that profits and not really about the reputation of the companies at all.

I can understand the reason why it is necessary for entrepreneurs to try as much as possible to cut down cost in how they run their business but is also very important for them to do it in a way with getting staffs that can be able to add more value to their business instead of poor productivity that won't still make more money for them.
 
Absolutely! 😊 Providing excellent customer service is about building genuine customer connections. First and foremost, listen attentively to their needs and concerns. Responding promptly and with a friendly attitude shows you care about their experience.

It is very important for you to show empathy towards your customers especially when they are complaining about a problem which they encountered using the products purchased from the company. This is because it is the only way they are going to feel comfortable that you feel the same way they do and understand what they are passing through with what they purchased.

If you're getting a discount on any supermarket products, you're doing so because the company made it possible. It's not something that you can wake up and decide to demand for. In this case, you can't still negotiate for the prices of those goods. It's only when they give loyalty bonus to their customers, then you can cash in on it once your own is due to be used.
 
Be kind, respectful, hear the customer out, help them to the best of your abilities. I think the best customer support is one that takes the time to talk to the person, and ease their anger down a bit. Most customer service calls are just people being mad, fed up, etc. So in order to get through that, you have to be the nicest and most helpful person you can be, in order to steer their emotions around a bit.
