Tools that block offensive words and content

I only know adblocker which block frequent ads. I know of moderators or Admins cautioning in relation to posting offensive words and content.

So far I have not come across such tool that blocks offensive words and contents. May be there is, but I am not sure. May be you should do more research online to see if you can find any answer. Or better still read comments of members here.

I haven't hear of this before I'm just hearing this for the first time, I'll really like to know more about and how it's work so I can also apply in too because me too I need it if available

I don't think there is any such tool to block out offensive words and other contents but u could get a moderator who could filter out offensive comments before you see them.

I don't know any plugins that are capable of blocking offensive word on your website. I believe you can see this when you search for it in your WordPress dashboard for plugins.

There might be such tools and might not also be such tools. But to the best of my knowledge, I do not think it is available. It is only the admins that can identify and block such from their platforms I guess

I'm sure there are tools that can help you achieve this, you will need to do a little research, or better still you could adjust the settings to recognise some offensive words and flag them as inappropriate.

There are a number of tools available to assist you in doing tasks online. With an ad blocker, I can prevent offensive adverts, and some solutions can also block other objectionable content, such as pornographic content.

WebPurify is probably one of the best profanity filters out there. Firstly, you don’t need to create a list of profane words/phrases to filter out since the plugin comes with an extensive list not only in English but also in several other languages including Spanish, French, Arabic, Italian, Portuguese and even Chinese.

Whenever a user posts profane content, let us say, via the comment section, the plugin uses WebPurify Profanity Filter API to replace the profane words with asterisks immediately.

There may be a plug-in that will do the job for you on WordPress. The reason is that there is some blood game you can install on your WordPress in order to block comments from people who are reading content on your website.

The downside of such tools is the fact that some individuals could get banned unfairly as the context for which those words are used is also a determining factor in whether they're reliable or not.

I think that there are certain plug ins that can be added to a website in order to try and block out certain words and i think that those will be helpful if they are preprogrammed with a list of phrases.

I think that there is a tool that could prevent your members from copying and pasting content as well. This is done to minimise and eliminate issues like plagiarism.

copy and paste is very dangerous to any website and that is why people always warn their members never to do such on their forums. Yes, there is a tool in which you can use to detect plagiarism. Grammarly can help you do that.

I have never used grammarly, but many forum owners also use tools like Plagiarism checker in order to detect copied content. I think that this is a good thing and a great tool.

Of course, grammarly is very popular and it is one of the tools they use to check plagiarism. I know a forum owner who uses grammarly premium to check any kind of plagiarism on his forum. There are also a lot of other tools they use.

Most forum software allow you to add banned words to the ACP so whenever someone posts any blocked words, it will be replaced with whatever you set it to. I'm sure blog software has this feature as well, I'm more familiar with forums though. As for blocking media, you'll have to moderate that yourself. I don't think there's a way to automatically have the software block that content.

Probably, this is very true. There is a local forum that has a spambot and it usually block people unfairly but some of the moderators try their best to handle such issues. Anyone who is adding such features must try as much as possible to be very active to solve some problems.

I have never used the premium version of the Grammarly app. So, since you know of someone who uses it, do you think that it is worth buying in the end? What do you think?

Of course, it is worth it. Many people who are professional writers use it to make their work look good. There are so many features like grammar correction, plagiarism check and so many others.
