Many of us who run forums know each other on here, right?

It's because we've been running forums forever. Let's face it. Many of us are from the generation of those from when forums first got big.

There is a big problem there! Younger generations aren't into forums as much as we are. That's not a good thing for forums or the longevity of software providers. If everyone who's into forums have already got their licenses and no one else is buying them, why should the platform stick around? They're not making any significant money.

So, what can we do, as a forum-loving community, to identify and develop the next generation of forum owners?

It is sad that eventually, forums could die out unless the younger generation gets into forums just like we did when forums really did start to take off.

If you have younger family members, maybe show them forums and what you do on them, they could show an interest and want to be around forums too.
